This is to be I guess a hodge podge of things that interest the writer so the blogs may vary on these diffrent subjects. One over arching theme one will find is how our culture can be changed through the transformation of Jesus Christ in a persons life. How we can be redeemed but not umm boring...I guess the idea behind many ministries that use our culture to reach out to those who need Him.. So let me just say Im glad you are reading this article and I hope you will be renewed by the transformation that is going on inside of you. So with this said I would like go on to talk about my culture. Some suggested music that I have been listening to recently are Black Crowes Warpaint, In October, and Underoath.

Pharasees

The Pharisees in the Bible had a superiority complex they believed that standing on the street corner and praying showed everyone how convicted they were and how holy they believed to be.Conviction is wrapped up in legalism in today’s culture.We decide that we are convicted about something no matter how many people get hurt,but we decide its "God’s Will" even when its our own. A group from the late ninteties that not all people remember Black Eyed Sceva said "We are all serving the same God/ We are not all serving the same God/ Are We? Its such a true statement I dont care what your particular denomination or fath may be we as people should be serving the same God, but as Dylan said many years ago we all have to serve somebody It may be the Devil or it May be the Lord. Where there is no vision the people perish.....are we following our vision or God’s? Sometimes I just wonder what journey we are all walking. I truly don’t think we are all on the same path...

Hard Times

It seems everyone I know these days has either had or has cancer. Makes me wonder if our government had fought so hard at finding a cure when they first discovered it as we do fighting wars if we would already have a cure. I dont know it does seem like Chris Rock is right when he says we wont cure these diseases we will just be able to live with them because theres no money in a cure. In the same breath I must add God has the cure I mean this sincerely because I have seen many come through these diseases and live full lives...

Kingdom of God

The Kingdom of God is written on the hearts of His people.This is what it states in the book of Revelation when John was encouraging those churches he addresses at the end of the Bible. Ive always been drawn deeply to Christian music above any other genre and as any one that knows me knows I LOVE MUSIC of all types look at my friends list and u will discover this fact. I seem too almost swell with pride and even get goose bumps when i hear fellow Christians get the deserved success in secular radio...I truly think that when it comes th Christian music whether it be hard rock, contemporary,rock, praise, gospel, rap or any other they are light years ahead of what is out there. I say all this to say how refreshing it is to watch the dove awards and see these people not pushing thier agendas or trying to build thier KINGDOMS but instead furthering the Kingdom of God through thier voices and songs and very lives. You get to see the Kingdom of God right here on earth when we see people giving glory to God
